Terms of Service

Last updated: 27 April 2026

These terms govern your use of CoParent (“the app”, “we”, “our”). By creating an account or using the app you agree to them.

What CoParent is

CoParent is a private coordination tool for two-parent households. It helps separated or co-parenting families manage custody schedules, shared events, holiday requests, and day-to-day communication. Access is by invitation only — one household at a time.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be 18 or older to create an account. Each account represents one parent in a household; accounts are not transferable.

Acceptable use

You agree to use CoParent only for its intended purpose — co-parenting coordination. You must not:

Content you upload

You retain ownership of photos, notes, and other content you add to your household. By uploading content you grant us a limited licence to store and display it to the members of your household for the purpose of operating the service. We do not use your content to train AI models or share it with third parties.

Google integration

If you choose to connect your Google account, CoParent will request access to your Google Calendar so it can create and read events on your behalf. This connection is optional and can be revoked at any time from your account settings or from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Our use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Service availability

We aim to keep CoParent available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend or discontinue the service with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any scheduling or coordination issues that arise from service downtime.

Limitation of liability

CoParent is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties and are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the app. Our total liability to you in any calendar year shall not exceed the amount you paid us in that year (which for a free service is zero).

Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. You can delete your account from Settings. We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these terms. On termination your household data will be deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes in the app. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
